Depiction:
I walked across the grasslands in the darkness, the grass beside me scratching my feet. Though pitch black, the distant streetlights and the stars in the sky slowly and gradually illuminated my surroundings. Drawing on my experience as an animator, I've experienced the rendering process after completing a 3D model, watching the edited objects transform through lighting, texturing, and finally calculation. This computational process has influenced my way of seeing. My experience with virtual construction has made me look at things as if through dissecting glasses, like peeling back the surface to gradually reveal the truth. In an age of virtual images where truth and falsehood are difficult to distinguish, I use this kind of viewing to respond to the possibilities of surface shaping. What else can we see before us?
