When observing a tree on the mountain, it seems to become incredibly three-dimensional, and I begin to contemplate how a tree is constructed in a virtual world. Starting with modeling, a basic cube, then stretching it through lines and points, transforming 2D into 3D, applying textures, lighting, and rendering. Drawing on my experience as an animator, I've experienced the rendering process after completing a 3D model, watching the edited object unfold through lighting, texturing, and finally, computation. This computational process has shaped my way of seeing. The experience of virtual construction has made me view the world before me as if through anatomical lenses, deconstructing the surface to gradually reveal the truth. In an age of virtual images where truth and falsehood are difficult to distinguish, I use this kind of perspective to respond to the possibilities of surface shaping: what else can we see before us?
