Depiction:
My latest work no longer draws on any reference. It's like dropping a seed onto a canvas, letting it sprout and flourish, then blossom like a firework before slowly falling. The process is the same: constructing from points, lines, and surfaces, extending through the manipulation of virtual software. Each piece is a blossoming of life. Drawing on my experience as an animator, I've gone through the rendering process after completing a 3D model, watching the edited objects transform through lighting, texturing, and finally calculation. This computational process has influenced my way of seeing. The experience of virtual construction allows me to view the world before me as if through anatomical lenses, deconstructing the surface to gradually reveal the truth. In an age of virtual images where truth and falsehood are difficult to distinguish, I use this kind of perspective to respond to the possibilities of surface shaping. What else can we see before us?
