Neptune Gallery

Neptune Gallery originated in Nihonbashi, Tokyo, Japan, and was founded in 2018 by Taiwanese artist Hu Min-Yao. The gallery aspires to become an influential international contemporary art space, regularly collaborating with artists to curate exhibitions, while remaining committed to discovering and promoting those who express their creativity through diverse artistic forms.

In the fall of 2018, we relocated from Tokyo to Taipei, establishing our base in the heart of the city to connect with the Asian art market while maintaining a global perspective—laying the foundation for our brand identity. In May 2025, we are taking another significant step by officially relocating to Anping, Tainan—a historic cultural capital and the birthplace of island civilization. With this move, we usher in a new chapter while continuing under the name Neptune Gallery, now introducing our new Chinese name — 海神畫廊 — in response to the call of the land and the inspiration of the sea.
