My works are primarily composed of clustered clouds, organic forms (that seem to be in motion), and vivid primary colors. When we observe the inner world, it feels as though we are leisurely swimming within a vast cloud, and I translate that intuitive sensation into clustered forms. In addition, many organic shapes in my works appear to capture fleeting moments of biological movement, all of which express “life” in different ways.
I aim to give visual form to the ceaseless bodily and sensory activities that occur because living beings exist—and must go on living. Here, “living beings” do not necessarily refer to individual organisms, but rather symbolize everything that moves and transforms: all forms of life, the societies in which these lives are organically interconnected, and even the vibrant inner world of human beings.
