Since ancient times, humanity has lived in the presence of prayer.
Prayer is an act of remembering others, of wishing for peace and tranquility, and of expressing gratitude toward nature.
Reverence for the unseen has taken many forms across the world. Though its expressions differ by nation or religion, it remains one of humanity’s precious and universal emotions.
From antiquity, this sentiment has been carefully preserved and refined, handed down as culture and custom into the present.
With this in mind, I carry a wish: to preserve and not forget those beautiful things that are gradually fading away—traditional costumes, rituals, and folklore.
The children in my works are the deities of my heart.
