  • Depiction:

The KAIJU series symbolically expresses humanity's universal anxieties and prayers against the backdrop of a cultural lineage that extends from the dragons of ancient mythology to the giant imaginary monsters of the modern era.

While the kaiju are embodiments of destruction, they are also beings that break down existing order and open up new possibilities. Its sharp dorsal fins are depicted as organs that carry both aggression and "the prayers of the people."

The sight of them moving through the cramped and orderly urban landscape is a metaphor for emotions such as anger, anxiety, and a sense of suffocation that are suppressed in everyday life.

KAIJU depicts humanity's fundamental hope that the power of regeneration resides precisely within chaos.

This is a series that asks viewers about the change and possibilities that lie beyond destruction.
