I care for many plants and have a particular obsession with deep green.
This painting doesn’t exist because of a complex narrative—it exists simply for the pleasure of this specific shade of green.
Lotus flowers appear repeatedly in my work because in Buddhist symbolism, the lotus blooms untainted even in muddy water,
which perfectly aligns with the idea that Limbo is a planet formed from the crystallized pure memories of children.
In that sense, the lotus is not just decorative in this world—it is inevitable.
