The phrase “in the blink of an eye” originally describes the brevity of a fleeting moment—lowering one’s head, lifting it again, all within an instant. The artist reimagines this as a spatial description: when looking down, one sees the earth beneath their feet; when gazing upward, one sees the vastness of the sky. We live in between this immense expanse, upon this finite land, striving to embody infinite vitality.
