Kuo-Fong CHIU draws inspiration from Chinese art history, blending seemingly opposing elements such as ancient and modern, tradition and innovation, literati and common folk, as well as ink painting and new media. This fusion shapes a style that is innovative yet deeply rooted in tradition. Within the historical context of traditional ink painting, he expands its contemporary possibilities, reinterpreting its forms and aesthetics with a fresh, modern perspective.
