Every piece she paints—whether anthropomorphic animals, twins staring into each other’s eyes, or figures embracing themselves—serves as a reflection of herself. She confronts her inner self in her art, depicting herself as figures like a rabbit in a burning forest, revealing the complex layers of her emotions.   Through Hwang Sena’s art, we gain insight into the essence of a person’s journey in search of self-meaning. Using allegorical expressions, she conveys a deep understanding of life’s significance and hope. As her inner world changes, so does her artistic style, serving as the most genuine portrayal of her evolving self.   Hwang Sena’s solo exhibition in January 2024 marks her first solo show in her artistic career. This courageous artist has faced her inner fears head-on, truthfully expressing the scars of her wounds through her art. All the works from this exhibition have been sold out, and she is steadily growing into a highly anticipated artist with her distinctive artistic language.
