Gallery Joy is located in Haeundae, a beautiful coastal city in South Korea.
Established in December 2012, the gallery has curated and presented a wide range of contemporary art genres, focusing on discovering and fostering emerging artists. It actively promotes their works both domestically and internationally through exhibitions and marketing initiatives.
In collaboration with public institutions and organizations, Gallery Joy also organizes gallery tours for the general public, aiming to broaden access to art and cultivate a more inclusive art culture.
The gallery operates both an offline and online Art Shop, offering a diverse selection of artworks and craft-based products—ranging from paintings and sculptures to ceramics, metalwork, woodworking, fiber art, and lacquerware. By transforming these pieces into accessible art products, the gallery seeks to bring art into everyday life.
With a deep belief in the intuitive power of artists, Gallery Joy hopes to contribute to a freer and more hopeful world. It strives to be an open, welcoming space where art can be shared, and joy and happiness are celebrated together with the public.
