Space of Presence and Absence - I

The artist observes the light that slips through the gaps between buildings—falling upon walls, doorways, and window frames—ephemeral and indistinct, yet compelling enough to make one pause. Light and shadow become not merely the subject of the image, but a poetic thread that weaves between the real and the illusory. These fleeting moments are transformed into suspended shadows and traces of light within the work—the painted forms no longer adhere to the canvas surface but seem to float in space, coexisting with the wall and conversing with the light.
