Uwe Mertsch

1962 Born in Germany

Graduated from both the Düsseldorf Art Academy and the University of Münster, Uwe Mertsch centers his work around minimalism, employing pure lines and bold colors to convey a vibrant abstract language. Drawing from cultural experiences across Europe, South America, and Asia, his work reflects on societal integration and contemporary issues. A collaborator with Apollo for over 12 years, he has held multiple solo shows and has frequently exhibited at Art Taipei to critical acclaim.
