CHUNG Chia-Chun primarily employs two mediums, charcoal and acrylic paint, to reflect the transformation of their body and mind throughout the creative process. When working with charcoal, he places a strong emphasis on self-awareness and instinctive drawing experiences. In contrast, acrylic paint demands a more structured approach, involving tasks such as mixing, measuring, and establishing boundaries with masking tape. These two mediums symbolize the CHUNG’s exploration of individual existence and societal relationships. In 2020, he won the Kaohsiung Award, one of the major events of arts in Taiwan, organized by the Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Art. His works have been exhibited in various cities, including Taipei, Tainan, Taichung, Kaohsiung, Yilan, Taitung (Taiwan), Beijing (China), Beirut (Lebanon), and Paris (France).
