Hang Shiang Gallery was founded at 1991, located in No.179 WuFu 1st. Rd. and close to culture center in Kaohsiung City. In the past twenty more years, Hang Shiang Gallery went through changes of society and different forms of exhibition, and gradually developed the unique operation style and exhibition direction.There are works of Taiwan artists and Russia mertorious artists within Hang Shiang Gallery at the same time, and also with collection of contemporary Asian arts to display multiple and rich artistic resources.Therfore, possessing foresighted investment makes Hang Shiang Gallery be able to serve the public by professional point of view.In the days of co-operation with artists, the final purpose is seldom considered for present benefit but rather maintains family-like friendship with each other in their life time. Thus , the unspoken consensus, trust and deep emotions developed among artists and Hang Shiang which makes Hang Shiang exhibition as class reunion among literature and arts circles, and also is filled with cultural atmosphere and intimacy.

In 2008, to offer more specialized and complete exhibition quality and service, Hang Shiang refurnished and decorated the gallery in the beginning of the year, with brand new space and humanism thought, to expand business and represent new appearance. The new space is three times larger than the previous area, in order to offer a quiet space among turmoil life, and let more outstanding artistic creations to be appreciated.

CEO of Hang Shiang Gallery, Lee Su Hua, warm-hearted and hospitable, has established this space decisively and insisted to continue the traditional art, popularize excellent creations of Taiwan artists actively, and introduce Asian contemporary art and Russia paintings. She hopes more excellent artists can be appreciated among literature and arts circles. At the same time, she visited domestic and international art exhibition and art auction market frequently to collect excellent works with potential, also accumulated professional knowledge and cultivated unique foresight. In addition, Hang Shiang provides platform for exhibition of domestic and international artists, to promote more communication of culture and arts. We Hope to create multiple cultural forms by the common language of art, and expect the arts industry to develop upward and extend constantly to reach the realm of artistic life.
