“Nest” is a newly introduced artistic form by Huang Chih-Cheng in 2024. Simultaneously, this series made its debut at the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts in the exhibition "I Remember...": A Collage of Memory and Imagination, as well as at Eslite Gallery in the exhibition "Hidden Landscape". (Note: By the time of this announcement, the Hidden Landscape exhibition has already concluded.)
For Huang Chih-Cheng, “Nest” embodies a longing for home and a sense of security. These structures are built in a short time, yet strong enough to withstand storms and nurture new life. Within them, images are placed in an egg-like form, symbolically foreshadowing the journeys of lives yet to unfold.
