Gallery Tsubaki opened in Kyobashi, Tokyo in 1983. It introduces numerous poetic contemporary artworks spanning painting, printmaking, sculpture, and more. The gallery features two exhibition spaces, simultaneously hosting two curated exhibitions and presenting over 20 shows annually. Representing approximately 50 artists, primarily Japanese contemporary creators, the gallery provides ongoing exhibition opportunities. It also participates in art fairs and curated exhibitions such as Art Taipei, KIAF, ART CENTRAL, Art Fair Tokyo, and Art Osaka. Additionaly, through merchandise and book production, it promotes Japanese art both domestically and internationally.
Represented artists include Michiharu Mochizuki, Yuji Kobayashi, Hiroaki Kuwahara, Moe Nakamura, Mayuka Yamamoto, and others.
