During my time studying in Japan, I remember the quiet moments spent with friends at the public bath.Soaking in the hot water felt like slipping away from reality for a while.As our bodies relaxed in the steam and warmth, words, too, began to soften.Perhaps only in the water could we speak the things we normally couldn’t say aloud.Once we rose above the surface—could those words still be heard?
