“Taiga & A Dagger of Time” reflects the struggle, passion, half-built visions and the societal pressure we are under. While “Vincenza & the Snake of Doubts” speaks to the fear of wasted time, misguided effort, and questioning whether any of it is truly worth it. “Donna & Her Magic Remedies” is about the remedies we turn to in times of struggle and realization that the only remedy that truly works is love.
These works act like visual mirrors: both personal and shared. A viewer might recognize their own unfinished dreams, their private moments of silent pleading, or the long shadows of uncertainty.
In a time where productivity is worshipped and self-doubt hidden, this series offers space for reflection, empathy, and emotional truth. It doesn’t sell solutions. It holds the tension and invites to open up.
Despite all the struggles, doubts and uncertainties, we dream, we hope and we move forward.
From doubts to confidence, from hesitation to action, the fourth work in the “Reflections: the Self in Everyone” series, “Rosie and Her Sacred Powers,” is a symbol of female empowerment. Inspired by Rosie the Riveter and visually layered with Eastern symbolism, this work acknowledges and celebrates the wonderful balancing act women perform on an everyday basis. Because, “Where there’s a will, there’s a way.”
