SHEN Changming is a devout Buddhist who began to learn about quantum mechanics ten years ago. The artist believes that the essence of life in the universe is the causal combination of quantum signal particles and energy waves. If you look closely at each work, you will find that the bottom layer is made of sand particles to make intaglio text, and then the base color is applied and then the Western painting is painted on the second layer. The sand grains act as carriers for both the text relief on the bottom layer and the painting on the second layer, reflecting the scientific concept of the superposition state of quantum mechanics.
