Liu's work endeavors to capture the unfiltered thoughts and memories that surface in an instant. Rather than expressing these moments through rational language, she intuitively translates them, much like dots scattered randomly across a canvas. This painting process is intricately linked to the acts of writing and sketching. The subtle marks enable Xinran to preserve the emotion while recreating it on the surface, ensuring it retains its luster. These fleeting entities weave together a transient web of thoughts, reminiscent of the moment Xinran spent with family and friends that whisper and fade away.
