Wen Jui TSAO

Born in Taipei in 1964, MFA from Fontbonne University, Missouri, USA. Tsao’s works are included in Taiwan’s Art Bank and private collections worldwide. Mastering classical realist oil techniques, he creates strongly surreal scenes, often inserting anime figures, film heroes, or cartoon icons into calm contemporary architectural spaces to produce a cognitive dissonance between the familiar and the strange, prompting reflection on the subtle relationship between visual culture and real society.
