Yen-Ran, WANG Born in Taipei in 1990, Wang received his MFA in Sculpture from the Taipei National University of the Arts.
His practice is centered on ceramics and extends into sculpture and spatial installations. Wang’s work explores the blurred boundary between industrial mass production and handmade craft, negotiating the tension between repetition and individuality. By reorganizing and remaking familiar forms, and by manipulating cultural symbols and the language of everyday objects, his works reflect personal experience while
engaging with contemporary cultural phenomena.
