Wai Bong Koon

Born in 1974 and based in Taiwan currently, Koon Wai Bong received his B.A. and M.F.A. from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and his D.F.A. from the RMIT University. He has attained many awards during his career including Hong Kong Contemporary Art Biennial Award in 2009, and widely exhibited his artworks in museums, galleries and art fairs across the world. His artwork has been garnered by museums, art organisations and private collections such as Ashmolean Museum, University of Oxford, M+, Hong Kong Museum of Art, Chinese University Hong Kong’s Art Museum, Wharf Group in Hong Kong, J. Safra Sarasin Group in Singapore and Asian Art Museum of San Francisco. His works were showcased in major art fairs and auctions, including Art Basel HK (since 2015), Art Taipei (occasionally since 2013), Art Shenzhen (2018), Art Beijing (2013 & 2018), Fine Art Asia (since 2010), Christie’s (since 2014) and Sotheby’s (since 2013).
