Jun Wei LI

Born in Taoyuan in 1995, MFA in Visual Arts and Design from National University of Tainan. Winner of numerous ink painting awards including the National Art Exhibition. Li combines ink and mixed media to build enclosed inner realms inspired by aquarium imagery. His recurring “Cloud People” figures symbolize the free spirit and ethereal consciousness within the individual. Reconstructing psychological spaces with classical vocabularies, he breathes new life into ink painting and echoes the universal search for inner tranquility.
