Hiroki TAKEDA, an artist from Saitama Prefecture, Japan, creates works under his unique concept of Plantism, in which he depicts various motifs using flowers and plants. His art expresses an imagination where all things are harmoniously integrated with nature. Animals are often chosen as motifs in his works, portrayed with a combination of realism and charm. Through his delicate brushwork and vibrant colors, his paintings evoke a sense of liveliness, as if the animals are about to move. Takeda’s artistic career began in Europe, and today his works are widely appreciated not only in North America and Japan but have also been featured by international media. He has gained a large following in Taiwan and Hong Kong, where his new original pieces sell out instantly upon release.
