This work explores the meaning and transformation of objects. For example, when a candle burns, is it still the same candle as before? How do we define "change" and "unchange"? The artist reveals personal contradictions through the work, allowing the images to speak. However, this revelation is selective—do viewers mistake fragmented pieces for the complete truth? Artist Huang Shang-Yu engages in a continuous dialogue of self-questioning and answering. Just as an answer seems within reach, it slips away again—always elusive. If the answer itself is unknowable, could escaping from uncertainty also be a form of pursuit?
