Shu-Yu KUO

Born in 1990 in Tainan, Taiwan

2024: Master's degree in Visual and Design from National Tainan University
2012: Graduated from the Department of Fine Arts at National Taiwan Normal University

The creative process for Kuo Shu-Yu is a method of conscious selection of everyday activities. Through the process of free writing and repetitive tasks, she learns to cope with anxiety and adjust to reality. On the basis of visual art, Shu-Yu studies objects that can best express the phenomena in her mind. By observing and re-imagining objects, she attempted to utilize its inherent meaning and charms in her art.
