Born in 1982 in Hokkaido, Japan, Kosaka now works and lives in Shizuoka Prefecture.
Using techniques developed on his own, the artist crafts works that encapsulate delicate, fine bubbles within glass. These patterns, intricately interwoven, form organic structures that evoke the breath of life drifting through time — capturing a yearning that echoes a reverence for nature.
The artist’s recent major exhibitions include BreezeIV (JILL D’ART GALLERY, 2024) and the Enishira 15th Anniversary Exhibition (21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa / Ishikawa, 2024).
