Man-Teng LEONG
Macao
Born in Macau, currently a Ph.D. candidate in the Western Painting program of the Department of Fine Arts at National Taiwan Normal University. She is both a fashion designer and a painter. Her early works are notable for their distinctive style, featuring her pet cats as creative models and incorporating her fashion designs into her artwork. This unique approach blends fashion, feminism, and psychology. Over time, her creations have evolved, focusing on expressions of society, culture, and history through mixed media. Her materials often include threads, beads, fabrics, needles, and capsules, among other ready-made objects.
